HomeBoxer
With HomeBoxer you can create amazing static websites in one minute. Just open the App, write a bunch of Markdown and voilà! Now you have an awesome, fully responsive, mobile first, valid and clean webpage.
Features
HomeBoxer comes with built in Bootstrap 3.0 and HTML5. Full Markdown support and a simple interface.
Tags
Built in tags helps you inserting information into your page. For example:
project.titlewill be replaced by the Website title you insertedpage.titlewill be replaced by the title of the current pagerender.builddatewill be replaced by the date and time of the page generation
These and many more tags are available to you, and you won’t even need to memorize them. They are all accessible from the Edit > Insert Tag menu option. If you are placing them manually, do not forget to put curly brackets around them like {tag}.
No console tools.
Just:
- Open the App
- Go to Pages and click the Home Page
- Modify it as much as you want, using Markdown, HTML or just bloody plain text.
- Click ‘Export’, pick a folder, and you are good to go!
Images and Resources
No one likes going trough a messy generated HTML file to find the place where you wanna insert an image, or a file. We have fied this by generating clean HTML files and by doing the insertion part for you!
In HomeBoxer you can easily import the desired files, put tags where you want them to appear and just press export. The relative path to the file will be generated and the file placed in an organized folder. No worries ;)

Download HomeBoxer for OS X now! Currently only OS X 10.8 guaranteed support, but don’t worry. The support for other OS X versions and maybe a Linux port under GNUStep are under careful consideration.
